Т. Jankowski on Warsaw's double standards

Here is an example of "democracy laws" and "European methods". The Polish regime has taken journalist and human rights activist Janusz Niedźwiecki hostage as revenge for the arrest of Protasevich in Minsk.

Janusz's friends and colleagues are sounding the alarm with these words. They suspect that they are beating of him the confessions of cooperation with the intelligence services of Belarus and Russia. The journalist has not been allowed to see his lawyer for 12 days and has not been allowed to contact his family and friends. Janusz Niedźwiecki was detained on May 31. He can face up to 10 years in prison on false charges. Polish political analyst Tomasz Jankowski commented on the situation.

Tomasz Jankowski, political analyst (Poland): "Officially, the Internal Security Agency said yesterday, after 12 days from detention, that he will be accused of espionage for Russia. This is not the first such case in Poland. If someone is against Poland’s aggressive policy towards Russia or Belarus, he immediately becomes a Russian spy. This is a good example of double standards."
