Vitebsk observes 73rd anniversary of liberation

Belarus celebrates the defeat of the fascist army. On this day, exactly 73 years ago, Vitebsk became free from the invaders. The capital of the northern region during the Great Patriotic War was almost completely destroyed. Today the memorable events will be held in Vitebsk in honor of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters.
