All issues on repair and restoration of the objects of the Zhirovich Monastery are taken under strict control and should be completed by December. This was told to journalists by Natalia Kochanova.
Today, the Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly visited the church in the territory of Zhirovichi monastery, familiarized herself with the repair and restoration works and held a working meeting. Natalia Kochanova noted that at this stage of the restoration of the Holy Dormition Cathedral there are some problematic issues.

“That is why I am here today. First of all, it is to monitor the fulfillment of the President's instructions, which were given during his visit to Zhirovichi in 2021. In addition, of course, there are appeals from citizens who have told us that work on the reconstruction and repair of this temple is being carried out slowly. Therefore, today we have determined the exact dates for the production of works, completion and development of design and estimate documentation, expert examination of design and estimate documentation. And, of course, we have set the dates when the work should be completed.”
