A republican patriotic rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War is being held in Minsk. Fifty children from all over the country came to the capital. They are students of specialized classes, winners of regional competitions and Olympiads. Young patriots honored the feat of the great-grandfathers and laid flowers to the monuments to the heroes.
Dozens of theoretical and practical competitions are ahead: military training, vocal competitions, sports relay races, as well as quizzes on knowledge of the history of the Motherland.
The locations of military glory will be visited. Patriotic tours and competitions will be held until the end of the week.
