Work of Constitutional Commission to take into account diverse opinions considering future perspectives

A balanced and thoughtful approach to any possible amendments to the Basic Law is applied by the participants of the Constitutional Commission. They will have to develop proposals for amending the Constitution and ensure its nationwide discussion. The work of the Commission will be as public and open as possible. Young people are also ready to make their contribution insuch a responsible matter.

In total, the Constitutional Commission included 36 people. These are representatives of government agencies, public associations, various sectors of the economy and the social sphere, lawyers. All of them are honored people of different generations with an active civil position. The Commission includes representatives of science and education.

It is important to take into account diverse opinions, but the main thing is to consider the future of the country. The developed proposals for amending the Basic Law should be submitted by August 1. Further, they are planned to be publicly discussed and submitted to a republican referendum.
