New Education Code passed in first reading

The discussions of the code are held by teaching and parental communities at different venues to take into account all opinions and to look at the approaches to education from different angles. A round table on the subject was held in Oktyabrsky District yesterday. By the way, both teachers and parents actively joined the discussion and made their own proposals.

There are more than 20 of them. They cover a very wide range of issues. The Education Code is one of the most important bills, being of fundamental importance. The education system is the backbone of any state, any society. Therefore, the quality of the code will determine the development of our state.

I note that the innovations which are now being discussed will affect the work of universities, colleges, schools and kindergartens. All the changes are dictated by the time. In particular, they include simplification of school enrolment procedure, compulsory general secondary education, the introduction of inclusive approaches.
