Oleg Romanov: No unreasonable increase in prices of socially-significant goods identified

The facts of unjustified overstatement of prices for socially significant goods were revealed during the monitoring of retail chains. The Council of the Republic has been monitoring how the President's order to stabilize the situation in the consumer market is being implemented for six months. In general, stores do not exceed the maximum allowable mark-up level. There are some exceptions, but they put the proper prices after the revealed violations. 

All information obtained in the course of monitoring is sent by the Council of the Republic to MART for taking measures to stabilize the consumer market.
