The first eco-market has appeared on the map of Belarus today. The multi-storey shopping mall "Valeryanovo" is located not far from the capital, on the highway to Logoisk. Among its investors there are leading agricultural companies and enterprises of Minsk Region. They presented the whole range of meat and dairy products, as well as vegetables, fruits and potatoes. The prices are affordable, but the main thing is the emphasis on environmentally friendly products.
Alexander Turchin, Chairman of the Minsk Region Executive Committee: "We have great hopes for Myadel District, because there are already farmers with European certificates for organic products there. It seems to me that it will enjoy high popularity".
There is a large parking lot near the shopping mall, buses and minibuses go here. In the future, the second floor of the eco-market will be occupied by food courts with cafes and restaurants with an emphasis on Belarusian cuisine, and on the third floor you can buy goods from the domestic light industry.
