3 new oil deposits discovered in Gomel Region

The new year brings new perspectives: 3 oil deposits have been discovered in Belarus in Gartsevo field of the Southern Pripyatski Basin. New technologies were used for drilling wells. This is connected with the difficult oil production conditions in this territory. According to preliminary estimates, geological reserves are 800000 tons. Belarusian oil production is now approaching the level of 2008-2009. Rechitsa oil resembles the indicators that were 25-30 years ago, when the region produced record volumes of oil.

7 exploration wells are planned to be drilled in Belarusian fields in 2020-2021.
