N. Kochanova meets with chairpersons of regional Councils of Deputies

Current issues of the deputies work were discussed today in the Council of the Republic. The Speaker of the upper house of parliament met with the chairpersons of regional Councils of Deputies. Natalya Kochanova reminded that one of the priorities for the development of the country for the next five years is strong regions. It is important to create production facilities, new jobs, social and cultural facilities in remote areas. The system of local councils of deputies should be updated both in terms of number and financing. It is important that it was effective taking into account the number of residents. In addition, it is important to enhance the work on the land, pay attention to the sale of dilapidated and unused buildings.
