International Family Day was celebrated in the Brest Region. The festival "Families for Peace and Creation!" was held in Ivanovo within the framework of the national campaign "My Family is My Country".
The festival was attended primarily by young and large families, as well as families with a long history of marriage and labor family dynasties. In total there were 7 families from different spheres.
Irina Kostevich, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Belarus:
“We really need to show our happy, prosperous, beautiful families. We are rich in such families. Belarusians are a family nation. We are focused on families, we are focused on children. This beauty and prosperity should be shown because with the birth of each child happiness knocks into the family.”
At the end of the festival was the laying of a family garden of trees. Such family city and district festivals will be held in every region of our country during the week.
