The tragedy of Khatyn will be the core motif of the Minsk International Book Fair. It will open on Wednesday. 19 countries will display their books at the exhibition center on Pobediteley 14. In addition to the Belarusian national stand, Russia will present a library of 255 square meters. New books will be brought from China and Uzbekistan. The main idea of the exhibition is "The world of books without borders". We are expecting a presentation of augmented reality publications in audio and video formats. On the opening day a premiere art object "Mechanical Encyclopedia" will be presented to the interest of book lovers.

Last year the assortment had 50 thousand titles. The majority of the editions could be not only browsed through, but also purchased for a home library, at no extra charge.
The book fair will open on March 22, the day of commemoration of Khatyn victims. On the 80th anniversary of the tragedy, there will be presentations of books and speeches by speakers. In addition to the traditionally free admission, free transport from the Sports Palace bus stop will be provided. A "Poetry Bus" with live readings of literary works will be running on the route.
