23 декабря 2013
The program provides for internships and study visits of Belarusian specialists to Russian national parks and experience exchange between the two countries.
Sergey Donskoy, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia: Restoring bison population is a difficult task, but since there is a large bison population in Belarus, the population in Russia is also recovering due to genetic material exchange and the free passage of animals across the border.
Vladimir Tsalko, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus: We share information and help each other in the international arena, but our joint panels give a new impetus to the development of cooperation.
The cooperation will focus on biodiversity conservation in the two countries.
