Days of Pakistan Culture: project at University of Culture

Students and teachers of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts got familiar with the peculiarities of the original culture of the Islamic East. The Days of Pakistan Culture started in the university Wednesday. The project included lectures and film screenings, an exhibition of paintings, B&W art and calligraphy, and a presentation of photos, as well as tasting Pakistani cuisine.

Sajjad Haider Khan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Belarus: "We celebrated a quarter of a century of diplomatic relations between our countries not long ago. 80 agreements have been signed in various spheres. We cooperate in socio-economic as well as educational and cultural spheres.  The Days of Pakistan Culture at the University of Culture is the start of a large project that will go beyond the capital and will be held in major cities of Belarus."

The Days of Pakistan Culture give the Belarusians an opportunity to learn more about the traditions and art of this geographically distant and ancient country. The project will be continued by mutual exchanges of students and teachers of Belarusian and Pakistani universities.
