This gift is part of a large project "Roots of Grass". This is a program of the government of Japan on allocation of grants for the victims of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The countries started "grass roots" back in 2004. During this time, Minsk and Tokyo implemented a 42 projects for almost three and a half million dollars. This is not only medical equipment, but also programs for the development of human life. By the way, the project is being implemented in Grodno Region for the first time.
The following grants will be allocated early next year.
