"Let us be saved by love and unity." The Belarusian poet received the main award of the International Slavic Literary Forum "Golden Knight", which was held on the eve in Moscow. More than 450 works from 14 countries were submitted. There were even participants from Latin America. Some forty works made it to the finals. They were judged in 12 nominations. Belarusian author Anatoly Avrutin won in the category "Poetry" for his book "Time Eternity", which included his poems from previous collections written over 50 years.

Anatoly Avrutin, poet:

This is a huge recognition for me, because it turns out you can live in Belarus and be a famous Russian poet. I've been trying to prove it all my life. Many people who started writing in Russian had to leave for more attention, for more recognition in Russia. And I set myself a goal: to live at home, to write in Russian. As you can see, I'm doing it a little bit.

Within the literary forum a round table was held, where the participants discussed modern challenges that literature faces today. There are plans to create a Union of Creative Associations of the Union State, which will unite writers of Belarus and Russia.
