By Vladimir Korolyov: On this day 98 years ago, Mikhail Frunze was appointed chief of the peoples' police force in Minsk. Nearly a century’s history of the Interior Ministry contains a lot of vivid examples of loyalty to the Motherland and the ideals of justice. Today, Belarusian police is a well-organized structure, flexible in responding to changes in the country and dealing with wanted person search, crime prevention, law enforcement and public safety maintenance.
