A regular air service will connect Gomel with the Northern capital of Russia. The first flight to St. Petersburg Embraer E-175 will take place on March 22. One-way flight will take 1 hour and 25 minutes. Belavia will land at Pulkovo airport. The aircraft has 64 seats in economy class and 12 in business class. The frequency of flights is three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
By opening a new scheduled flight, the domestic air carrier intends to consolidate its success in the Russian direction. Since the end of 2023, the air transportation of passengers from Gomel to Moscow and back has been resumed. Now it happens 5 times a week. There is interest, the load of flights is high.
Today, under the restrictions, Belavia aircrafts make flights to 10 countries of the world. Passenger traffic in the Russian direction is growing rapidly. Medical tourism is developing more actively with the opening of new routes. In 2023, 25 thousand Russian citizens were recuperated in health resorts of Gomel Region.
