Belarusian Bison Race called most difficult race in Europe

The Belarusian Bison Race obstacle course, which in seven years turned from an amateur race to a professional competition, is considered to be the most difficult race in Europe.

The history of this extreme race began in 2015, when the Minsk Half Marathon was launched. But the Bison Race is a completely different kind of outdoor activity. The organizers carefully designed the obstacles adopting the best world experience. That's probably why the "Bison Race" started attracting not only amateurs but professionals as well. And after a short time "Bison Race" was called the most difficult obstacle race in Europe, and the Europeans themselves.  A team of top athletes who created clubs that specialize in sports training was formed in Belarus.

Races with artificially created obstacles are often called Obstacle Course Race (abbreviated - OCR).  Obstacle races use hurdles, a variety of maneuvers, carrying weights (it can be stones, and anything else), overcoming mud, cold water and even, as at the start, fire, exercises on balance and coordination. For each event, new obstacles are constructed, and track circuits are changed. Participants seem to get into another dimension where they have to survive every minute. Logoisk, Silichi and Raubichi - these locations with their relief peculiar to Belarus are ideal for such races.
