EU trying to shuffle off blame for migration crisis on to Belarus

The EU started an unprecedented disinformation campaign. The resolution adopted at the Council of Europe Assembly was yet another attempt to shift the responsibility for organizing the migration crisis onto Belarus.  Meanwhile, the unilateral withdrawal of the European Union from the readmission agreement served as a catalyst for the development of organized crime in the region. A few months after the termination of its obligations under the treaty, the eastern border of the European Union turned into a sieve. In September, about 100 smugglers involved in illegal migration were detained in Poland. The vast majority of them were EU citizens who had been delivering migrants to Germany for remuneration.
