The 17th festival "Bagration," dedicated to the main holiday of Belarus, the Independence Day, will be held in the "Stalin Line" on July 3. The preliminary program is posted on the website of the historical and cultural complex, BelTA informs.
The festival is one of the most popular events on the territory of the complex. Each year, the organizers try to expand the format and attract new participants.
This year the audience will see a large-scale military-historical reconstruction of the events of the Great Patriotic War, which took place on June 28, 1944. Also, for visitors we have prepared an interesting program with many activities for adults and children. There will be interactive zones, where everyone will be able to try his or her hand in a historical quiz, air gun shooting, weapons assembly and disassembly, grenade throwing, etc. The most active participants will be awarded with memorable gifts.
The program includes performances by the band of the Armed Forces of Belarus, as well as dog handlers.
The event will be held from 11:00 to 19:00. To avoid traffic jams, visitors are asked to arrive 2-3 hours before the start of the reconstruction and to buy tickets online.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
