The village of Naroch hosted the 4th classical music festival In Shemetovo at Shostakovichs’ took place. The the great-grandfather of the greatest composer of the 20th century, Dmitry Shostakovich, is from Shemetovo. At the initiative of the Belarusian diaspora in France, the first concert took place here in 2016, and has already grown into an annual music festival. Together with talented Belarusian singers, famous foreign musicians participate in the concert programs.
Since the project is not commercial, but cultural, the entrance to the concerts is free.
