Shchuchin is preparing to receive about 10 thousand visitors on the Day of Belarusian Written Language. Celebration of the national word will unite writers from 8 countries. These figures were announced today at a press conference on the upcoming event. On Sunday the palace of Dukes Drutsk-Lyubetsky will be opened after restoration. The XIX century noble residence will now host a district center of creativity of children and youth.
The program of celebration includes a festival of books and press, writers’ autograph sessions, competition of readers, presentations of publishing projects, concerts and exhibitions.
