Minsk Regional Local History Museum turns 60

Slutsk belts, temporal rings, ancient remains of the settlements and other rare exhibits can be seen in valuable collections of Minsk Regional Local History Museum. The special display was prepared for the 60th anniversary; more than 200 exhibits from all the region were placed in the hall. An ancient German manicure set, a chess pawn that has been around for several centuries, porcelain and glass exhibits can be seen there. The museum has been operating in Molodechno since 1959, 14 years ago it moved to a new building, which houses permanent exhibits.

There are more than 70000 exhibits in the storages of Minsk Regional Local History Museum. Slutsk belts and temporal rings are one of the rarest.
