Legendary band "Pesniary" turns 50

The legendary band  "Pesniary"  has turned 50. Several generations know by heart their songs "Belovezhskaya Pushcha", "Vologda", etc. 

For half a century, the team passed the test of  glory, exhausting tours and  censorship, However, initially they called themselves "Lavonne". But it was necessary to be renamed  for the  all-union music competition. Future music brand "Pesnyary" was taken from the classics works of  Kupala and Kolas. Later they will be called the Soviet "Beatles". Yet, they were still looking for their own style and found it to become one of the most popular Soviet performers.
