By Daria Tarasova: The first Belarusian icon painting plain-air session in Logoisk featured iconographers from Belarus, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine, tasked with painting icons using modern techniques and new decoration materials.

The unifying element of the meeting was the Zhirovichi Icon of Mother of God.

The final exhibition followed by the two-week plein-air session was arranged in a chapel.

Today, the works have arrived at the Art Gallery of the University of Culture in Minsk. The icons are also planned to be exhibited in Warsaw and Kiev.
