Forum of Russian Literature and Culture in Minsk brings together representatives of 17 countries

The House of Moscow in Minsk has become the center of the Russian literature, culture and art, museum and publishing business. The 12th International Conference "Preservation, Support and Promotion of Russian Culture and Language Abroad" has brought together about 100 educators and linguists. During three days the forum will unite representatives of 17 countries including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Italy, Uzbekistan, Latvia, France, and Slovakia. The program features seminars for teachers of Russian language and literature, round tables, discussions and master classes. The organizers of the international conference are Moscow Government, the Department for External Economic International Relations of Moscow and Moscow House of Compatriots.  As part of the international forum there is an exhibition of contemporary art "Russian Vast Expanse" by nine artists from Russia and Belarus. The avant-garde patchwork collection was presented by Moscow textile design club "Red Sarafan".
