The fact that the state and the people do not feel the wild sanctions pressure is the merit of the industry, but the achieved results are not enough yet. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, summarizing the results of the meeting on the state and tasks of industry development, BelTA informs.

"So that we understood each other and you understood my position: the time is not easy, and the fact that today we are discussing the tasks for the future (practical, strategic) in such a manner shows that a lot has been done. And I am grateful to you for what has been done. To all those who have added value during this time. But the bottom line is that not enough has been done. What we have accomplished, thank you, is good. But it is insufficient. You yourselves talk about it when discussing problems with each other, with the minister, maybe in the government," Alexander Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko:

"Everyone demanded more powers, here are the powers, act, the economy is in your hands - sitting here and in the government. Plus other sectors (representatives, heads of agriculture and others). Act! You asked for powers. We did, we adopted a new Constitution. That is why I am saying once again: a lot has been done. And the fact that our state, our people do not feel this savage pressure, which the West was counting on by imposing these sanctions, is your merit. "
