The Conference is being attended in particular by the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs and the Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation.
First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Mikhnevich expressed confidence that the conference would lead in particular to the formation of partnerships and interaction patterns between countries with average income, aimed at promoting their innovative development.
The Conference participants are planned to visit the Hi-Tech Park and a number of major Belarusian enterprises.
