EAEU to set up e-commerce operator

The Eurasian Economic Union will set up an operator to regulate foreign trade, said the officials. The innovation will simplify activities in the field of supplies and provide convenience for the end consumer, who will not be engaged in customs clearance and will receive their parcel on time without the need to perform additional actions. A new participant in the supply chain, i.e. an e-commerce operator, will take over all support functions, including responsibility to customs authorities.
