Promising projects and mutual profits were discussed today in Tbilisi during the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Georgian Commission. The turnover in trade in services increased between the countries by almost 50%. Exports amounted to more than 20 million dollars. As for the goods turnover, Belarus supplies to Georgia about 360 commodity items: dairy products, medicines, furniture, and agricultural machinery. And this is not the limit of trade opportunities, there are obstacles and they need to be eliminated as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the Intergovernmental Commission discussed 12 issues from industrial cooperation and cooperation in the agricultural sector to contacts in the field of science, culture and sports.
