President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said about the need to focus on the early recognition of electronic digital signature in the EAEU. He said this at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow, BelTA reports.

"We have been talking about this for a number of years. All agreements in principle have been reached long ago, but things aren't moving. This is not a political, but a technical issue. But it often becomes an insurmountable barrier to the participation of Eurasian business in the economic processes of the Union countries," said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President believes it is necessary to complete this work as soon as possible.

Alexander Lukashenko also drew attention to the topic of technical regulation, which is closely related to the previous issue. "The work on technical regulation is at the final stage. All that remains is to digitize technical regulation," said the head of state. - I am sure that no one in this hall needs to be convinced that digitalization of technical regulation will provide our industry with additional opportunities for development. It will simplify obtaining information and the processes of certification and standardization.
