Belarus satisfied with state of cooperation with China, says Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei in an interview with the information agency Xinhua
The Celestial Empire is an important strategic partner for Belarus. Over 25 years of cooperation, the parties have achieved close cooperation in various fields and areas. The largest joint project is the Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone".
Vladimir Makei, Belarusian Foreign Minister: "We want to make the park a hub platform for the economic belt of the Silk Road, where not only the logistics component would develop, but, as I have already said, various innovative and future-oriented industries would develop. Belarus would strengthen its trade and economic potential, and it would be beneficial for the whole initiative of the Economic belt of the Silk Road. I think that this park has very good prospects."
The minister stressed the importance of having normal relations with all global players both in the region and around the world, while noting the importance of Russia and the European Union for Belarus in all respects - political, trade-economic and humanitarian.
