The agreement, which will increase the trade turnover between Korea and Belarus, was signed in Minsk by institutes for the certification of household and industrial products. This will simplify the system of checking and confirming the quality and safety of goods, and delivering them to the consumer.

Steve Young, representative of the Korean Institute of Tests and Certification: "Now many problems arise following the climate change. They try to solve them by reducing the energy consumption of imported and manufactured equipment. In your country, certification bodies also understand the importance of this problem. Belarus is now perceived as the center of technical regulation in the post-Soviet space, after the entry into force of national energy efficiency requirements. "

The national requirements for energy efficiency for household and office equipment came into force in July.
