Belarus has increased supplies of chicken eggs to Russia - more than 11 million eggs were exported in the first ten days of January. This is almost twice as much as in the same period last year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food emphasizes that the increase in supplies is due to the growing demand in the neighboring country, as well as the accumulation of surplus products at domestic enterprises.
Today the capacity of our producers is used by one hundred percent. This allows us to fully cover the needs of the domestic market and export.
The annual production of chicken eggs in Belarus is 3 billion pieces, with another half a million coming from farms and households.
