As a result of last year, the volume of mutual trade amounted to more than 4 billion dollars. As the Governor of Smolensk Region noted at a meeting with the Belarusian Ambassador to Russia, the potential should be expanded. The Russian Region is interested in increasing the supply of agricultural machinery, Belarusian trolley buses and buses, as well as food products and the exchange of experience in the cultivation and processing of flax.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the preparations for the Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, which will be held in September in the Mogilev Region.
