On August, 26, the intrigue of the National qualifying round of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 will be resolved: the winner will be chosen, who will represent our country at the prestigious International Music Forum in Malta.

On August, 10, the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus was visited by representatives of the pre-mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to monitor the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation.

The election campaign to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus is about to finish. The period of election propaganda will start on August 15. All Minsk candidates will have an opportunity to address the voters оn TV channel Belarus 3.

Ten finalists of the national selection for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest were selected on 27 June by a professional jury following an audition.

On June, 22-23, Minsk will host the Fifth All-Belarusian Assembly. The TV channels of the media holding Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio, will broadcast the sessions from the Palace of the Republic.

On June, 27, the BTRC will hold an audition for the applicants willing to participate in the qualifying round of the National Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Belteleradiocompany announces the beginning of receiving applications for participation in the national selection round of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016, which will take place on November, 20, in Valletta, Malta.

The European Broadcasting Union has made changes in the rules of the Junior Eurovision International Song Contest. Accordingly, the innovations will form the basis of the Regulations on the national qualifying round, which will be developed by BTRC.

On May, 14, the final of the International Song Contest Eurovision-2016 will be held in Stockholm (Sweden). The live broadcast will be held by the TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as by the website of BTRC tvr.by. The show will start at 22:00.
