Will Father Frost be replaced with Santa Claus in Ukraine?

On the eve of New Year holidays in Ukraine they remembered that Father Frost was invented in Russia, and decided that he should be forbidden. Snegoruchka was banned along with him. A petition with a demand to stop "using the characters of the enemy occupant state" appeared in the network and to replace them with Santa Claus. Last year they already tried to cancel Santa Claus, but nothing worked then. 

Will Father Frost and his granddaughter be greeting Ukrainian children this year, as they have been doing for decades, or will they become victims of political repression? We will soon see.
