Many people seeking refuge in hospitals cannot evacuate as the roads are blocked.
The UN has characterized the situation in the northern Gaza Strip as hell on Earth! Thousands of residents of the enclave remain without medicine, water and food. According to the WHO, 20 of the 36 hospitals in the Strip are not working. And the remaining ones can only provide a minimal level of services.
