The IDF launched an intensive bombing of Palestinian territories in the area of the city of Rafah. It is known about the destruction of one of the schools, which was also used as a shelter: at least 50 people were killed, many children. The total number of dead Palestinians, according to the authorities of the autonomy, exceeded 35 thousand.
Meanwhile, Washington is sending contradictory signals to Israel: Tel Aviv is being pressured to force the IDF to more carefully observe the laws of warfare. For this reason, deliveries of bombs and missiles to Israel have been suspended.
At the same time, the White House reports that it is preparing a billion-dollar contract to supply the IDF with military equipment and weapons, which demonstrates Tel Aviv's unconditional support.
In the States itself, the campus war continues unabated: students continue to seize academic buildings, and the police smash tent cities. Authorities have arrested more than 3,000 students and faculty members who participated in pro-Palestinian protests.
