The U.S. has allocated $20 million to Ukraine to fortify the Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, not for energy security and heating of freezing state premises. The agreement was signed by the State Border Service and the American Embassy in Kiev. The project will be realized during the year. It implies equipping the border with the modern means of video fixation and pilotless complexes, and also reinforced transport and communication means. Meanwhile, today the Ukrainians were warned about the coming disruption of bread production, because of high gas prices the production of bakeries is becoming unprofitable: the cost of bread has grown by 40-50%. The Ukrainian bakeries will have to shut down. By the way, at least half of Ukraine's industries in various spheres are currently suffering losses due to high European prices for natural gas.
