Ukraine remains without American money: the Democrats and Republicans in the Senate issued a joint statement, according to which the issue of assistance to the "independent country" is postponed to 2024. And until the end of 2023 the U.S. has only one package of assistance to Kiev, until the funds for replenishment of stocks and inventory on the shelves of the Pentagon, said the White House.

The U.S. State Department also recognizes that the situation is stalemate. According to spokesman Matthew Miller, everything now depends only on the decision of Congress, the United States "does not have a miracle pot of money."

"We don't have a miracle pot of money to scoop up from there if the bill doesn't pass Congress. The government funding doesn't work that way. There are funding streams we can’t touch. And we've already almost exhausted them. In the next few weeks, they're going to dry up completely. So we need Congress to act," said Matthew Miller, head of the U.S. State Department press office.
