Russian parachutists held a dress rehearsal of the jump from the stratosphere to the North Pole. A jump from a height of 10 thousand meters will be timed to the upcoming anniversary of the capital of Bashkortostan, the 120th anniversary of the birth of pilot Valery Chkalov and the Day of Cosmonautics.
The experiment aims to collect technical data that will be useful in the work of rescuers, cosmonauts and other specialists. The jump will be recorded by a representative of the Russian Book of Records, who will fly on the airplane together with the skydivers.
