The situation with the expulsion of Ukrainian military conscripts to their homeland from Europe is gaining some certainty. Polish and Lithuanian authorities are ready to catch evaders and send them home to the trenches. At least, this is what the editorial board of the Financial Times believes. At the same time, for example, Germany is ready to grant refugees asylum even if Ukraine revokes its citizens' documents.
However, this is where the United States comes into play. According to a representative of the State Department, the situation is complicated, and Washington does not know what to do here: whether to return Ukrainians to their homeland or not.
