Why Belarus' neighbors are not happy about visa-free travel and what the Western elites seek by closing checkpoints at Belarusian border

While some paths are opening up, others are being overgrown with restrictions, sometimes causing chaos in the ranks of the initiators. The intrigues of European politicians, who are already confused in their decisions, are hitting ordinary residents.

An illustrative example is Poland, which closed some checkpoints on the border with Belarus, thus causing a transportation collapse. As a result, carriers, in particular, European companies, which have been building their business for years, suffer.

Vilnius also followed Warsaw's unhealthy example. In August, the Lithuanian side deprived its own citizens of the possibility to travel through two checkpoints. They came up with the most unbelievable reasons, referring either to threats invented by themselves or to the unpopularity of these directions.

As a result, resentment of people, who came to Belarus under the visa-free visa, congestion at the border, lost profits. Now Lithuanians also visit us, but less often. They have to enter through Latvia, which is the nearest way, inconvenient, costly, and without restrictions.
