The publication notes that the level of support for the Chancellor's party in 2023 fell from 20% to 15%, and this is the worst result for all time. One of the reasons for the fall in Scholz's credibility is cited as a scandal related to a fraudulent scheme in 2020. The incumbent chancellor at the time was Minister of Economy. Now the politician denies involvement in the incident.
