The Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk summed up the results of the meeting. The organization's special representative Heidi Grau said that there has been a significant increase in the number of victims of the confrontation in Donbass over the past two weeks.
Heidi Grau, OSCE Special Representative in the Tripartite Contact Group: "The safety of civilians is one of the priorities of the TKG. The growing tension on the contact line and a significant increase in the number of victims have recently been alarming. Their number has reached 9, which is more than 1/3 of civilian casualties this year. Therefore, I urge the parties to maintain the ceasefire."
The meeting participants agreed to present their positions within a week with the identification of additional sites for the separation of forces and assets. The parties will soon submit lists of the detained. It will be negotiated within 2 weeks.
