Germany to carry out radical military reforms

Germany has unveiled the most radical military reforms since the Cold War as part of efforts to improve the Bundeswehr's capabilities. The reorganization is expected to be "top to bottom," Defense Ministry chief Pistorius said, specifying that its main goal is to ensure that the country's armed forces are ready for emergencies, including war.

He also announced the emergence of cyber troops, whose tasks will include electronic warfare, reconnaissance and defense of electronic infrastructure. An additional 6.5 billion euros will be needed for all this next year, but whether the Bundeswehr will receive these funds is still unclear. The German government barely has money for Ukraine, much less its own army.
