Farmers are protesting in Poland again. They blocked the expressway, which crosses the country from north to south, and insist to put under strict control all Ukrainian exports and, most importantly, transit. At the moment, Polish agrarians are suffering huge losses due to agricultural dumping.
As of today, farmers are also blocking several checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. But, obviously, this measure is recognized as insufficient, because in this way the pressure is exerted mainly on Kiev. The blockade of highways is a more effective means of influencing their own authorities, for this reason, if no measures are taken after the current action, the farmers will declare a nationwide strike from May 10.
