Europe ready to make concessions to Orban

All means are good when it comes to Ukraine. The Financial Times reports that the European Commission is ready to give in to some of Hungary's demands for the sake of giving Kiev 50 billion euros. In order to convince Viktor Orban to give up his veto, Brussels has approved an annual audit of aid, as well as the inclusion of an "emergency brake" clause under which any country can express concerns about injecting funds into Ukraine. In addition, the Hungarian prime minister will have an opportunity to personally suspend support for Kiev in 2025.
